Double Ended Tubs
Double-ended tubs are bathtubs with rounded back on both ends. The location of the drains and faucets on double ended bathtubs varies; sometimes they are in the middle, while on other tubs they're on the side.
You would typically buy a double ended tub if you wanted a tub that seats two bathers. The two rounded edges and longer tub make it comfortable and convenient for two people to sit across from each other while bathing.
Double ended tubs are often free standing tubs and can come in wood, stone, copper or cast iron. Double ended bathtubs also come in many styles and can have claw foots and can be quite stylish and modern. While double ended tubs are somewhat of a luxury, they are generally inexpensive and go great in any bathroom.
