One of the first questions you have to ask yourself when purchasing a bath tub is - how many people should be able to sit in it at the same time? If you are just looking for a one person bath tub, this is completely understandable. However, you may want to be able to sit in the bath tub with you significant other. Also, if you recently had a baby and want to be able to bathe the baby and yourself at the same time, you may be interested in a larger bath tub.

Double Ended Bath Tubs

If you are looking for a larger bath tub that both you and your partner can sit in, then a double ended bath tub is a great choice for you. These double ended tubs allow one person to sit in one end, and another to sit on the other end. Each end of the bath tub has a rounded end that one person can sit in. These bath tubs are a great choice if you want to have two people sit in the bath tub at the same time. In this way, these bath tubs are even more like jaccuzis then they are  bath tubs.

Shower Tubs

Shower tubs are the most widely used form of bath tub in the modern age. A shower bath tub is simply a bath tub with a shower head placed in it, so you can choose to either sit down and have a bath, or stand up and have a shower. Most shower tubs have separate levers and knobs that control the bath tub water, or the shower setting. They are usually installed by a plumber or contractor. Typically, we do not recommend installing these yourself as pipe has to be run behind the wall to the proper place in the home, in order for it to function properly.
